"FIXIE" BIKE
Ok...So i want a Fixie hella bad!!!!
so for all you who are not quit hip yep....a "Fixie" is a single gear bike, there super cool and super trendy....but the catch is that the don't have breaks and can only be stopped buy applying back- pressure by your legs....this probably means nothing to you but i want one.....there the new craze...and i road my friends on campus last week and now im in love. You can even ride these things backwards.....but im debating weather i should buy one or build it?!?!?!
Yeah I know, should probably just eat my "Free Lunch" and stop trying to eat off campus like the cool people!!! :(

They're not trendy ma dude, they're very old bikes that became extinct once better bikes were made. Just like these have been the thing to ride for the last 5 years (they're not at all the new craze...ever heard of the movie mash? i'll sell you the stussy tee) the new real thing going on in bikes are bmx's with 24" tires. Check out pk ripper... Trust me when it comes to this stuff, I'm always right or you'll see in a few years...

build that shit, old frame from a barn, parts from garages, whatever you can find, first one has to be a mix bag, after that anything goes..don't let anyone tell you different, what YOU like is cool
dont build anything out of the SE frame (pk ripper) its a bmx style fixie that was made for people to tricks..same as the volume frame..personally i think you should stick to the old school pursuit style frame.
